Shenzhen Pioneer Adventures is pleased to announce our latest partnership, as the online service provider, and regional office for Pioneer Media.
Pioneer Media is a film, location, and logistics company, with a primary office in Bulgaria that offer a full range of services through Eastern Europe, the former USSR, and even the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The company was co-founded by Justin Martell, who has a varied background in the film industry, as well as Gareth Johnson, founder of Young Pioneer Tours, who has an extensive background in working around Eastern Europe and the former USSR.
Whilst company is still in its infancy, they still have a number of film and documentary credits, including the recently released Ghostbox Cowboy, filming party with Young Pioneer Tours and Pioneer Media in the Chinese ghost city of Ordos, as well as The Alcholist, the horror blockbusters Return to Nukem High (1 and 2), as well as documentary projects in India, Korea, and Cuba.
Their primary services and lines of business are in film production, with the intention being to make their own in-house productions, and outsourcing destinations and post-production to their vast range of experts in Eastern Europe.
They have also set up a film fund, whereby 20% of profit is reinvested into up and coming film producers throughout Eastern Europe and beyond, with the intention to enter these short features into various festivals and hopefully win awards.
For Pioneer Adventures, our partnership with Pioneer Media is that we are their online presence, and marketing team, not just in China, but throughout the world.
We are also extremely excited to explore the digital opportunities that there are in China, from our experience we have noted a number of Chinese firms looking towards Eastern Europe and beyond for film solutions, but at times both being scared off by the language barrier. At Pioneer Adventures we speak English, Chinese, and Russian, and thus are very excited to be the ones to bridge this cultural gap.
Pioneer Adventures, together with Pioneer Media are also extremely excited to explore the ever-expanding Chinese film market, and will actively be looking for local partners in Shenzhen and beyond. Whilst China famously has quotas on how many foreign produced films can be shown each year, co-productions are exempt from this, thus potentially opening collaborations up to 1.3 billion consumers.
We are very excited by this collaboration. Watch this space!
