While Eastern Europe and Asia offer spectacular locations and affordable pricing on crew and equipment, the United States offers some of the best tax incentives in the world. Pioneer Media Co-Founder Justin Martell facilitated all locations, logistics, equipment, accommodations and below-the-line crew for the 2016 Italian-American co-production, Alcoholist. The film was shot on location in Western New York and took advantage of the region's 30% tax credit! Check out the trailer here.

Hong Kong’s biggest television channel, TVB, went to North Korea to shoot an episode of the popular travelogue shows Not Far But Away hosted by Tony Hung. We arranged all permits, permissions, and logistics and accompanied the film crew internally to handle issues on the ground and assist with the filming.
North Korea: Visiting as a Tourist – Overlander TV, 2013
Australian travel filmmakers Overlander TV visited North Korea. We arranged logistics and permissions for the trip, which became one of their most popular pieces. The success of the collaboration opened doors and built trust in a time when it was much more difficult for media to visit.

We have provided logistics, planning and translation services for several film projects – one American and the other Australian – in the Chinese ghost city of Ordos-Kangbashi as well as the historical capital of China, Xi’an. Both films are currently in post-production.
